We are working with UCLA's marine biology dept. to take inner city school children out on the research vessel, The USS Seaworld. Enchanted Earth Ocean Foundation works to fund this program so that these children can experience the ocean and many of it's inhabitants. A sea trawl is done and the children can have a hands on encounter with a variety of sea life. The sea specimens are released un harmed at the end of each trip. If we are lucky, We might see some dolphins or whales as they make their way along the coast. Currently this project is unfunded and your support would be greatly appreciated. This is an important project and we need your help!

Cetaceans use a form of bio acoustic sonar called echo location. Utilizing this advanced form of sonar, the animals are able to see using sound. EEOF has developed a new and innovative way to not only log and capture this information, but also begin to interpret it. With new advancements in technology, we will finally be able to hear the full spectrum of information the cetaceans are transmitting. We are working on cutting edge projects that will begin to process this data into visual images. To crack these codes would open up limitless applications which could in turn revolutionize cetacean communication. From a more observational methodology, we study body language, posturing, and vocalization. We watch for repetitive behavior in relationship to sound, in order to find a common behavior related to that sound. We watch group and single interactions, as well as feeding patterns, social structures and associated patterns, especially game playing. From these observations we have learned the meaning of a vast variety of vocalizations.
The cetacean brain is a magnificent biocomputer that is finely tuned for processing sound. This gives us a unique opportunity to look for new and innovative ways to communicate with these animals. It would appear that dolphins and whales are reaching out to people all over the world. Is it possible that they have something they can share with us? This is an animal that has been evolving millions of years longer than humans, with a cortex, and surface area that far surpasses that of the human brain. By analyzing the detailed acoustic packages that are being sent and received by the cetaceans, we can finally see the pictures unfold.

We create beautiful films that are both entertaining and educational. Our television series "Enchanted Ocean" is a breathtaking look at marine animals and features such things as communication, behavior, and intelligence. Some of this footage highlights images that have never been captured before. Our work is award winning and has been featured on such networks as, Animal Planet, Discovery, The Learning Channel, PBS, The Water Channel, ABC, and more....Our educational school programs teach children about the cetacean social structure, behavior, and anatomy. The school interactive presentations are set up to engage the students on a level that works to establish long term memory. With rewards, games, challanges, and lots of fun, our programs create lasting memories that will carry over into adulthood. We feel these memories will last a life time and bring about positive change for a healthy world.

We take our multimedia film presentations into many childrens hospitals to engage the children in an undersea adventure. Ultilizing beautiful imagery and expressive textures of sound, we work to distract the children from their current circumstance of pain or discomfort, to one of more beauty and joy. In this mindset, the body is more able to heal. On request, a DVD is left, so that the children can access this material at any time. We also give the children, stuffed animal dolphins and other sea creatures, so that they can have a friend from the films. This is to help them through their difficult healing process and remind them of the fun they experienced watching the film presentations. Our hospital enrichment program is designed to help sick and injured children forget their pain and fears for a while, as we take them into the magical world of the cetaceans. We find programs such as this make a huge difference in the life of a suffering child.

the help of EEOF The Hunkpapa treaty council has endorsed the
creation of The Sioux Village of the West. This project is a
full service cultural complex featuring various authentic cultral
activities. This project is designed to teach accurate knowledge
of American Indian cultures, languages, and oral history taught
by elders of various tribal nations. Included in these teachings
are different methods of working to preserve wild animal habitat
and an understanding of environmental consciousness. To find

We have teamed up with the the community to bring an amazing activity center to the Antelope Valley of Los Angeles county. The facility is designed to bring many different types of sports to kids, including water sports. There is nothing like this in the Antelope Valley and will enhance the lives of so many children.
Our children are more out of shape than ever before. In a day when it is so easy to abandon physical activity to stay in front of a television or computer screen, it is important to bring nature and activity back to the youth. |
