Enchanted Earth Ocean Foundation is a non profit organization that is dedicated to education and the preservation of precious wildlife. We study document and film interactions with dolphins and whales, scientifically known as cetaceans. We study every sound the animals make and work to establish visual connections of movement and behavior to these sounds. We log and document all of our observations, working to create a broader understanding of cetaceans world wide. Through research programs, television programming, documentaries, and films, we shed new light on the animal kingdom. It is our mission to uncover unique dialogues with cetaceans and share this information in a way that will help to protect and preserve the species. With scientists and experts from around the globe, our team has set out to unlock the advanced communication codes that have been utilized by cetaceans for millions of years. Through an ongoing platform of exploration, we spotlight cetacean communication, behavior, and intelligence in new and exciting ways.
We inspire and educate the public with our educational films and visual works of art. We know and understand that the things we love are the things that we want to protect. We work to instill a love and passion for these majestic creatures, knowing that it will indeed make a huge difference in the success of these animals.
We go in to schools
and help empower children to make a difference. We educate the children
on dolphin behavior and anatomy though our video presentations and
interactive lectures. We teach the dolphin social structure
and the closeness of a pod. We show how these animals work with
a social cohesivness and loyalty to these pods. This is very powerful
behavior for children to see because it helps to show the benefit
of working in a group towards a common goal. It is this behavior
that helps to secure the dolphins success in such a hazardous environment;
it is also a good example for children to see team work in action
and the benefits from productive groups.
We are located in
Los Angeles California but travel world wide to study the many different
species of cetaceans. Part of our mission is to educate people in
these remote islands and third world countries. Many of these people
do not understand the value of the cetacean. It is important to
show how these animals are a key to the health of the waters and
thus all life in the area. When these issues are fully explained
people begin to understand how the simpliest of acts change the
success of the waters.
